Modern interpretations - Mixed-media paper collage

Year 5 pupils (9-10 year olds) imagined what Molenaer's characters would look like today. What would they wear? What instruments would they want to play? Using mixed-media paper collage, the pupils constructed a similar room, positioning the various objects appropriately. They then drew themselves in groups of three wearing their favourite clothes and having fun.
