Zoom collage

Horningsham Primary School

Year 2 and 3 pupils (6-8 year olds) used the zoom facility on the National Gallery website to explore the details in 'Two Boys and a Girl Making Music'.

Working in groups of three, they chose a different zoomed area to make into a mixed-media relief collage. Children collected fabrics that were similar to those described by Molenaer in the original, and materials such as spoons, wood, beads and leather.
