Bangabandhu 'Saint George and the Dragon' Animated Film

This extraordinary film was created by a Year 3 class at Bangabandhu school in East London with the help of a video artist. Students had to play with ideas, different media and different tools to make the film. They started by storyboarding sections of the story in pairs. They then designed and created their models, working all the time with ideas about scale, perspective, angles, the expression on characters' faces and the costumes that they would wear. The children had great fun playing with the model sheep which they made with wire and wool. Students had to rehearse how to make them move and look real.
