Southfield Dragons

Year 5 and 6 students at Southfield School created their own interpretations of Uccello's 'Saint George and the Dragon' as paintings. After a whole term of work on Saint George and the Dragon using art, drama, and music they wrote stories based on the legend of the dragon. They then worked with a visiting artist to develop their Art and Design skills.

The whole school worked on different interpretations of Uccello's painting, creating murals, window displays and performing their own play with another school.
