Malorees Infant School Dragon Sculpture

Year 2 students at Malorees Infant School worked together with visiting artist Darcy Turner during a cross-curricular arts week where the focus was Uccello's 'Saint George and the Dragon'. Teachers, students and the artists explored different media that they could use to create their dragon and express their ideas. The finished sculpture took pride of place in the playground. Students from the school can explore inside and around the dragon and can even enter into the wooden base that represents the dragon's cave.
