'The Graham Children' by Ashford Park Primary School

Students were each given a section from the poster and asked to enlarge it onto a sheet of cartridge paper. They used the grid to help them transfer and enlarge their section of the painting. Emphasis was placed on the importance of colour mixing and observation of shape.

Many of the sections of poster were unidentifiable as part of the original picture and could not be appreciated until they were put together to form a complete painting. A great sense of achievement and teamwork was felt by all the students who participated.
