People in the 'Beach Scene'

St. Mary's School

Each reception pupil at St. Mary's School in Bodmin chose a person in Degas's 'Beach Scene' to paint. As a speaking and listening exercise they talked together about what the figures might be doing and saying. Living so closely to the sea they were also able to share their own coastal experiences.
