Kew College

Kew College students, from Surrey, spent a brave day in late September at Leap Beach, on the Solent in Hampshire.

While they were there they posed as characters in Degas's 'Beach Scene'. They tried to imagine what they might have been feeling or saying. They also created the same scene in the 21st century, and discussed how beach life differed in the past. Back at school the Year 6 class wrote poems and produced a digital video.
