Nottingham High School

Students in Year 6 worked with a computer drawing programme to play with ideas of colour, shape and character. The interactivity of the computer programme allowed them to experiment with different effects very easily using tools like the paintbrush and the fill tool. It also allowed them to change and improve their work through cutting and pasting.

Their work shows how using digital technology in art can be a very playful and rewarding experience for the students, and can produce high quality work. Students have carefully considered which tools to use to achieve the best effect.
