Horningsham Primary School

A whole mixed class of Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils (8-11 year olds) generated ideas for a script inspired by Molenaer's 'Two Boys and a Girl Making Music'.

Working with a local children's author and illustrator, they built a set and made characters and props using clay. An Information and Communication Technology advisor taught them how to use digital photography software to produce their final film.

The children listened to Dutch music from the 17th century and composed their own phrases to create the score for their film. Some of the instruments used to play the score were also made by the pupils. Click here to view this score.
