Stratford Primary School

At Stratford Primary School, Stratford-upon-Avon, some Key Stage 2 pupils (8-11 years) explored the symbolic objects in 'The Marquise de Seignelay and Two of her Sons'. After discovering what each signified, they made work on the themes of water and love. Local history was also woven into the final piece with the inclusion of Shakespearean love sonnets.

Other Key Stage 2 pupils from the same school used symbolic objects in their own digital and mixed-media self portraits.
