Paper sculptureStratford Primary School
Working with a teaching assistant, a class of Key Stage
2 pupils (8-11 years) from Stratford Primary School,
Stratford-upon-Avon, made a life-sized paper sculpture
of 'The Marquise de Seignelay and Two of her Sons'.
They learnt modelling techniques,
how to translate a two-dimensional image into a three-dimensional
free-standing structure, and how to negotiate the best
use of a variety of children's skills within a team.
