CREATING
After the thinking and planning comes the doing - when students
create their own work. The process of creating can take place
during art lessons or across other subjects, or it can take place
during a dedicated art week.
'Take One Picture' activities have ranged widely, and have included
poetry, drama, dance, sculpture, and even science experiments
and ICT.
The process of making work collaboratively or individually can
be very engaging for students. Teachers often remark on how
disaffected students have been motivated and stimulated by creative
work.
